We had invited friends to come over on New Year’s Eve to watch the Sky Tower fireworks from our apartment balcony, but the fog was so thick we couldn’t see anything, just a neon glow under a heavy grey blanket.
I noticed though that @CourtneySit had taken some photos from directly underneath the tower, which seemed to be the best (and only) place to see the fireworks this year.
Fuck you, Auckland weather.
