Megaupload, one of the world’s largest file-sharing sites was shut down this morning, its founder arrested in Auckland, and several company executives charged with violating piracy laws, TV3 reported.
In a profile on the founder, Kim Schmitz, TV3 journalist James Murray said “Schmitz is a colourful character to say the least” with stories of his extravagant lifestyle and checkered past. This dude is so seedy.
